Tanzania IFRS Update Masterclass 2025
IFRS S1 provides a set of overarching disclosure requirements designed to enable companies to communicate to investors about the sustainability-related risks and opportunities they face over the short, medium and long term. IFRS S2 sets out the requirements for a company to disclose information about its climate-related risks and opportunities, building on the requirements described in IFRS S1.
The morning of this masterclass will provide an in-depth exploration of these two standards and practical advice on how to implement them.
The afternoon will focus on the new IFRS 18 standard (replacing IAS 1) which will help companies to provide information about their financial performance that is useful to users of financial statements in assessing the prospects for future net cash inflows and in assessing management’s stewardship of companies’ resources.
It will conclude with an update on the latest amendments to the classification and measurement of financial instruments.
