Mr Vengai Madzima is seasoned mining and property law practitioner in Zimbabwe. He holds an LLB and LLM in Comparative Business law from London Metropolitan University. He is widely recognized for his practical solutions to complex issues resulting from his experience as a former CEO for an International Mining and beneficiating company responsible for its Zimbabwe operations. His insights and advise on mining law and relatable issues will be invaluable for the masterclass.
Mr. Isaac Kwesu is currently the Chief Executive Officer for the Chamber of Mines of Zimbabwe and past President of the Mining Industry Association of Southern Africa “MIASA” (an Association of Chamber of Mines in the SADC region). He is also currently the President of the Association of Chamber of Mines in Africa (ACMAA). Isaac sits on various boards in the public and private sectors.
Mr. Zvenyika Chidyausiku is an esteemed lawyer practicing in Zimbabwe, who specializes in commercial law. He holds an LLB and LLM (Commercial law) from the University of Cape Town. His vast experience in mining law has afforded him the opportunity to act as legal counsel in numerous high value transactions within the industry. He has represented clients in commercial, regulatory and litigation matters and his in-depth understanding of the legal framework governing the mining industry allows him to provide valuable insights into this dynamic sector.
Ms Farai Mukwehwa is the managing partner and head of the commercial, corporate and conveyancing department of Farai & Farai Attorneys. Farai oversees the law office business operations, including establishing the law firm structure, communicating and enforcing team values, and contributing to strategic business decisions to achieve the overall goals as a law firm. She has extensive experience working with clients in multiple industries, including mining and transport has an in-depth understanding of the Labour Laws of Zimbabwe.
